A Melbourne based neo-bank was undergoing a transformation in its digital space designed to support its growth trajectory. The transformation supported key strategic agenda to enhance the customer experience through their interactions with the bank. This program involved an uplift and replacement of the core banking origination system with direct downstream impact on business units, processes, products, and data.
The bank required support for the design and delivery of a complex migration program with direct operational impact on every step of the customer lifecycle, along with supporting regulatory reporting requirements.
The bank chose to partner with Revenite to help design and execute and provide support in migrating the banks Customer Origination System.
Initially, Revenite delivered its proprietary Data Migration FastStart, culminating in detailed roadmap for key delivery tasks, multi-vendor dependencies and costs. As part of the initial effort, time was allocated to identify scope & time dependencies across the overall transformation program.
Once the migration project plan was reviewed, finalised and endorsed, foundational data migration activities including source to target mapping, sub-setting and initial tests were underway immediately due to program time pressure.
In parallel to the bank was maturing its systems and processes to support sustained growth, a particular emphasis was placed on uplift of governance and data quality to support the broader modernisation effort. Revenite worked within a broader delivery stream to uplift Data Quality of key entities as part of the pre-migration effort.
Revenite coordinated our migration activities with stakeholders across the entire program including third-party Platform and Software Vendors, internal Robotics, Analytics and Technology teams and executive stakeholders spanning Lending, Risk and Customer.
A key success factor on this program was the harmonious engagement across disparate stakeholders, all aligned to common key migration goals and milestones, leading to a successful final system cutover.
